# Hold & earn

> Keep a balance that holds its value, and put money that's just sitting there to work.

## Hold

Your Pesarc balance is denominated in your own currency — naira, cedis,
shillings. It's backed by stablecoins under the hood, so it holds its value
instead of melting away, and you can send or cash out from it any time.

## Earn

Idle money can earn. Move part of your balance into **Earn** and it goes to work;
withdraw whenever you want.

1. Tap **Earn**.
2. Choose how much to put to work.
3. Confirm. You can see what you've earned and take it all out at any time.

  Earn is opt-in and withdrawable. Nothing is locked away without you choosing it,
  and your money stays yours throughout.
